As much as we romanticize the past. I think with the iPhone and technology we have at our fingertips, we do have it easier. I mean, Social media is a nightmare and can be a negative for sure but the ease of doing business remotely and communication is to our benefit.

I agree with both your points. The medicine, the scientific breakthrough, especially the technology.
The ability to have such wisdom at your fingertips. All of that has great advantage over the past.
I do think social media is changing our relationship patterns and ultimately we are swapping the physical aspects of life for the cerebral ones in a lot of respects and we have yet to see how that will play out evolutionarily, but overall I feel lucky to be alive in this day and age.

Solid points on the Heath care advantage. It's an interesting topic that can be debated for hours I am sure. One thing that cannot be debated is that, without todays advanced technology, I would not be able to log on here and View your profile and click on your pictures and see how incredibly HOT you are.

I think both past and present hold their own benefits.
Either way, here's to a better future!

the money argument is an interesting one, especially given the amount of millionaires we once had, which was few, to an abundance of them over a short span of time. Due in large part to the stock market and globalization of industry and what not but also a strange competition of humans to money hoard.
So not only is the pattern of money moving differently but the psychology of humankind is following.
Now as we start to go outside our own atmosphere in order to resource find/hoard... we will see how this goes.
It is certainly a very dynamic and exciting time to be alive albeit tiring and overstimulating as well lol.
But I agree with that last sentiment, to a better future.

It's a simple fact that took me a long time to understand. Print more money causes inflation. And we all have to pay the price.
That's why I say to the ladies, buy at least one or two Silver rounds .999 a month to preserve your future wealth. Any coin store has them.

It is true that we face unprecedented stresses, environmental, digital, and economic, but these are stresses of complexity, not fundamental survival.
We have conquered the terrifying randomness of early death and ignorance.
To be able to blog about this topic remotely with access to history is, in itself, a credit to our immense privilege.
Cheers to a better future! Best!
