1. Dont give up on your dreams, follow them.
2. You are pretty, believe it.
3. Spend as much time with parents as you can, you will regret it if you dont.
I could go on and on. I have alot of things I would tell myself. I look back and think man I was hard on myself for a long time.

(tbysstudios, your first one was exactly what I was going to say)
Here's mine:
1. Invest in not only financial education but a diverse portfolio as early as possible. Especially crush Roth IRAs as soon as they're created.
2. Don't listen to advice about college from your folks. Not because they don't care, just that they don't know WTF they're talking about. Go to JC first. You're not ready for a big, impersonal school.
3. Prioritize people. If friends/family need help, go help. Goals and tasks can always wait.

Awww DR....I agree with your number one. I am still chasing a lot of mine. Also, your number two hit me. So much outside validation needed I would have wished I would believed in my authentic beauty earlier as well.
C57....I 1000 percent agree with your second point. I wish growing up in the 90's I would NOT have listened to anyone about college. Or had my own stupid misconception that I had something to prove to my DNA that I could do it. I truly believe if I was more educated w money (our collective first point) I might not have made the mistake. Alas, now I have regret and expensive wisdom. LOL.

Ok I like a lot of the suggestions given. If we could only be wise at the beginning....and not have to wait till we get older to know these things. LOL. I now have no college but lots of gold in my new financial education pocket hahaha.
This last one has me laughing tho...Will Smith looking at this post like huh what did I do. Also you could sell those sneakers now right? Or does the value completely drop off like cars. Well most cars lol.
P.S. I definitely wish I would have found this site a long time ago as well. I am always late to the party dammit

I like your first suggestion. That would've been easier had I followed one of mine; "Listen to your elders." Finding your own way is great, but there is still much wisdom to be had.

1. Learn what women find attractive in a man and become a Natural at it. And you may not ever sleep alone again.
2. Learn that which is not taught in schools, like the US Banking system and what qualifies as to Not be a Taxpayer, it's laws and definitions of who is an Employee and who really earns Wages.
A must read the book Creature From Jeykell Island and World Without Cancer by Edward G. Griffin.
3. Do Not take any drug that is being sold to you on the TV. As the days of ask and trust your Doctor are long over.
An old guy told me that some 30 years ago at an IRS anti-tax seminar. Turns out he is right.
4. Buy all the Gold and Silver bullion you can. Even if all you can do is get 2 .999 Silver Rounds per pay check.
Even JP Morgan said last week, he Now recommends one's portfolio to be 20% in precious metals. What does he and others know that they are not telling you ?
5. Learn how to fix your own car. You will save Thousands in labor costs.
6. Move out of the big cities.
7. Buy a home as soon as you can.

Lot of good ones here. For me:
1. Make any important decisions with you in mind. Not your family, not your friends, because they aren't the ones living with the results of those decisions, you are
2. Become financially astute as early as you can. Invest and diversify early and often.
3. Don't run so hard for the company you work for. Take the vacation.....use your PTO....employers don't really care about you and your wellbeing so do not allow yourself to risk your mental and physical health for a company that will replace you tonight if you left then today.

1. Don't marry your high-school girlfriend/boyfriend.
2. Your job/career has a 5 year expiration date. If you haven't advanced or promoted, it's time to move on. Personal growth, both mental and financial, far exceeds longevity, Loyalty is not rewarded.
3. Wear sunscreen, skin cancer is no joke.

I should have made
#1. Do not ever settle for second best. As you may regret it even after the divorce. I can now give you the tools and point you into the right direction. if you will listen to your father.
But first, what is it that you want inside a woman, besides your dick. Take your time cause the answer may eluded you.

I really love all of these, I think it's fascinating how insightful we get as we move along in life. Wisdom is something else.
If we only had a magic ball to see into the future when we were kids.

Always go with more horsepower than you need.
There's no such thing as too much horsepower.
All girls are pretty, it's just some are prettier than others.
NEVER stand for a man striking a woman. If you see it you must act.
The first 2 are from my father and stepfather. The 3rd is from my maternal grandfather.
The last is from my paternal grandfather.
And mine is:
When in doubt, hit the throttle, never the brake.
