Definitely a fun time when you go down there. I prefer to go during the week like Monday or Tuesday because they have a VIP card that gives you 70% off. That’s a big discount. Also the weekends especially holiday weekends it is normally packed. But you will have a good time. And also if you get a chance go to “Cesar’s restaurant. The food is good and not a bad price.

TJ is totally safe going alone. Remember that they actually want your business. There is no reason for them to give you a bad time and not go back… they won’t get the tourism.

I just went for the first time a last week and it was pretty wild. I would check out Reddit's r/TJRedLightDistrict/ for lots of good information. A couple of key points:
1. You need a passport to go back and forth to Mexico now unless you want to spend hours with the border patrol up your ass trying to get back.
2. It's best to park on the US side of the border and then cross over via the pedestrian crossing. The big clubs have shuttles over that pick up near the crossing. Otherwise Uber is like $5-10
3. There can be hundreds of girls working for the hundreds of guys looking to have fun and it can be very loud and overwhelming. Dozens of Maseros will be walking around asking you to buy the girls drinks. If you say yes you can have a bit of fun with her. If you refuse the girl will just move on. When the girl orders the Masero will ask if what she ordered is ok. If it's anything besides a beer or simple cocktail you should say no, especially if she orders wine. That's $33 bucks vs like $8 for the beer. It's probably best to just immediately order 2 beers. As long as the girl gets her "ficha" ticket she is happy.
4. We are all there for the "arriba" experience. These are brothels, not strip clubs, and every girl is looking to take you upstairs. Be sure to negotiate prices and activities before you head up. I had one of the best gfe experiences of my life last week for 1/3 of what I pay here. I also had dud time that cost more money because we failed to communicate below and it killed the vibe.
5. US dollars are best to spend, and you should hit the ATM before you cross the border. If you must get cash be on the lookout for HSBC or BANORTE banks. They only charge normal bank fees and will dispense USD. If you must use an ATM that dispenses Pesos, be sure to decline using the ATM conversion rate if you can. If you don't you end up with a $50 transaction fee instead of $5. I didn't try the ATMs outside HK but I would assume they are the high fee variety. The one inside Hotel Cascadas which is where girls will take you to do the deed charged like $4-5 fee.
6. Book a night outside the Zona Roja at a nice hotel and then Google "Polly Threesome Tijuana" if you want a REALLY good time.

Join Team Juanita, a club here on HX. They have an annual Christmas party that is free to members. You can set up a date with one his ladies or meet like minded fellows that would gladly take a trip to Hong Kong.
I was there early this year and Adelitas was closed. Not sure why, but Hong Kong was in full swing.

My friend and I used to go down there all the time for the fun. He was asian and since i know spanish pretty good it worked out.. the girls are great, just take your time picking.
The place to be is hong kong but everytime i go there that place gets bigger and bigger. thats the good and bad. Covid kind of really changed things.. prices went up but still a deal. But if you are in LA, its like an all day thing.. so since time is money, might have to weigh if its worth it.
anyways have a good time.. ive been by myself but its always funner when you got a good buddy..

There's a reddit on the area. There's a lot of good info there if you do some research. I've never been and I'm in the same situation. I'm trying to work the courage to go alone. lol
