Oceanside is cute and chill.
As a client I feel its underserved. Although Ive met a few providers here, I usually end up traveling to southern OC (Irvine, etc.) or to SD (especially Mission Valley/Hotel Circle) for incalls.
The coastal cities and hotels in this part of SD County (North County) might be riskier for SW, but thats just a guess on my part.
Ive wondered why more providers dont base themselves in Sorrento Valley. Its the area where the 805 splits off from the 5, near La Jolla and close to a lot of biotech firms that attract business travelers. It has reasonably priced mid-tier business hotels that seem convenient for incalls and outcalls. But theres not much in that area for you to do on any personal downtime (unlike Oceanside).

MacFlurry it is simply a numbers game. If you go to People/Search function and use San Diego/North County/ Coastal, there are only 69 level 1 and up males that are currently listed as being there. If you switch to Home base there are 90 males listed there.
Why Level 1 and up males? Because while there are level 0s with a lot of network there are way more that have never done anything except pay there 25 for joining. It also includes males from all the way back to the beginning that never remove their profile. The ladies need guys that actually see people. There is no way to even look if the guys, any level, have seen anyone recently, except for looking one by one which is not efficient. So while the area may be nice there may not be a lot of business there. Just because it is loaded with a lot of businesses and homes, it does not mean that there are any male members of HX there.
At least you have more possibilities than me. Santa Barbara has even less and we are 40 minutes to Ventura and an hour to Thousand Oaks, Even that area has less level 1 and up males.
I do not know how far that area is from Mission Valley but it is a lot closer than I have to travel. Of course I have no idea how bad the traffic is from one area to the next. When I have visited I am not traveling at peak hours so it is not that bad.

Mission valley
It’s most central
Also, La Jolla
So mission valley is central, but becoming hard for parking.

+1 on both La Jolla and Mission Valley. Stayed Mission Valley many times.

I do not do hotel circle personally it's a pass for me.
Hotel Circle is a pass for me too. Steer clear of it.
Just curious, but what makes Hotel Circle a pass? Not from area, but see a lot of ads there.
Hotel Circle is just too noisy for me.
Prices are good, but lots of noisy guests...
In the parking lot, outside rooms, and on both sides of me. Staying at other motels, they are all the same.
Sorry, but budget minded adults with kids/teens are noisy all night long, not getting any sleep. And some have roaches!

Mission Valley / Hotel Circle – Offers reasonably priced hotels and is centrally located, making it easy to go to from all parts of the city. #1 choice.
North County Coastal – A more upscale area near the beach, a little more affluent. Sightly Riskier second choice.
North County Inland (I-15 Corridor) – More affordable accommodations and potentially some traffic, though less scenic. Distant third choice.
Areas to avoid:
East County – Known for cheap hotels, and even cheaper thrills.
South Bay – Not central and the area is generally less affluent.
