Always been partial to the fire pits at the state beach in Huntington Beach. Good parking and access to restrooms and food vendors.

I would say HB. I think they have fire pits at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro but only during daylight hours...??
|
|
|
Seal is nice but I didn't know they allowed bonfires.
Is HB hella crowded? Is there a less crowded spot on Sundays?

i would love to do that sounds so summer ish and def fun!

I believe Huntington State Beach, and Bolsa Chica, are the only 2 local beaches with fire pits. I would guess that any beach you go to on a Summer Sunday is going to be crowded. If you want to get a fire pit.. Get there early!

^Definitely get there early.

We went on a Sunday to get a great pit near the lifeguard towers 24 - 25. There was ample parking, no waiting to get in.
It was a great day!
Thanks to everyone who replied to this blog and reached out to me personally.

A fire pit at the beach on a summer night is awesome. It's probably a So Cal thing.
|

Yea, it was a bonfire. I assume it's just a beach thing. I have never been to any other beach besides so-cal.
Super fun! though!
but when I lived in KY we had fires during the summer, a lot.
