Grumpy--maybe you right- my bad- I was caught up in my feelings for this person I got to know- briefly - honestly I did not even know her real name-but spent some quality time with her- she was like so many beautiful women that past through this portal spend time with us mongers-
I thought it was befitting to show Giaababy some type of tribute - if that is wrong so be it- to me she is like a fallen heroine - and it seemed appropriate on Memorial Day weekend to show her some love -
Grumpy- Remember Big Guy? We all made a tribute to him when he past away- so why is this any less right or wrong?

My allegiance to this board is in part because we all honor one another's privacy .
To answer, I actually had this similar conversation with someone today .
I have lost a friend from here and unfortunately their account was logged in on their device and family was able to access it along with lots of messages. That is another good reason to use our profiles for photo albums and not text screenshots and or pictures. You just never know when something might happen and or who all will be reached through your account / device.
Sorry for your loss.

Very often, when a board member's death has been confirmed in a reliable fashion, the community has worked to excommunicate the profile to preserve the person's privacy and avoid uncomfortable family situations as mentioned above. Seems like the right approach . . . maybe that's already happened here?

If the woman in question posted pictures of her face in her public albums, I don't see what's wrong with showing us her face when she passes away. That way we might know who she was & grieve along with the OP (we might have seen her ads, posts or at parties), especially since her profile will be quickly taken down.

I forgot her name but I know who you're referring to. She & I got into it one of the clubs. But we later reconciled & she sent me a very nice PM saying she was open to seeing me, etc. Did we bond over a post about pets or something? I'm glad we ended on a good note because a few months after that she suddenly died & I was very sad.
