Many phones have tracking available through Google Maps.
I lost my phone about a year ago, and tracked it to the trash can at the gas station where I had dumped a bunch of trash while filling my tank!
I think that even if it's dead the tracking shows its last location. I didn't even know about the tracking service until someone suggested I try to locate it. And it worked!

As long as you don't go to the Ubers home for pick up. But you can still track them where ever they go .
