BigOnes, you appear to be knowledgeable and educated on the subject of immigration. I wonder if you would help me understand.
I just can’t figure out who will do the kind of less desirable jobs that historically employ immigrants if we get rid of them. One of many possible examples would be harvesting crops in the Central Valley of California. I understand the pay is lower than US citizens will accept and these jobs also require people to live and work in rural areas that most Americans find unappealing. Of course there are many other types of jobs filled by immigrants when citizens are not interested, but agricultural workers are important in California where the vast majority of this nation’s produce is grown.
I suppose the pay for jobs typically held by immigrants could increases until citizens are willing to take those jobs (assuming wages are the only thing that makes those jobs unattractive) but who will pay the costs? I’m guessing prices will have to rise in so businesses that have historically hired immigrants at cheap rates but nobody likes to see inflation go up.
I also believe immigrants that have legitimate jobs must pay their taxes, even if they are not citizens. Of course a fraction of citizens and immigrants are hired “under the table” and don’t pay taxes but this is a small part of the work force. How will the tax revenue from immigrants be replaced if the immigrants are expelled from this country?
Finally I have to ask if you are aware that the only people in this country whose ancestors weren’t immigrants are Native American “Indians” who are a small part of the population and are often economically disadvantaged. If we are descended from immigrants does that make us part of the problem?
I hope you will take the time to explain these conundrums in a logical and rational response to help me understand these conundrums problem and the solution.

^ They do pay taxes, and in a lot of cases they use fake Social Security cards. That means that they allow deductions from their paychecks but don't file taxes - so no tax refunds. That money falls into the abyss and helps support the welfare recipients and SSI scammers, all the while performing important jobs that typical American citizens would never touch!

The current phobia against anyone who is not white and a natural born U.S. citizen is troubling.
The natural birth rate of white natural U.S. citizens is very low and cannot sustain the population growth necessary for the U.S. to remain an economic powerhouse (GDP). Get rid of all of the non-white "undesirables" (not necessarily referring to the known criminals) and the U.S. will be relegated to third world status within 50 years.

In case anyone missed it, with the technological advances since the end of WWII we now live in a GLOBAL economy, not a national one or a regional one. That really kicked into high gear when WE gave the world the 747 and airfreight became big business. Simply put, we are the victims of our own technology.
Isolationism will only end up with us being a country like North Korea. And striving for a genetically superior population will certainly end up the way of the Nazis. The world will simply not tolerate revisiting that shit-storm!

Anyone who loves Tom Homan should be ignored as a babbling imbecile.
Homan has said that he doesn't care about the law or the Constitution, which is the clear position of Trump's administration. The same administration that is refusing to follow the Supreme Court's order to facilitate the wrongful and mistaken imprisonment of the person who was sent to El Salvador. He was quickly sent to El Salvador without due process. If he had a hearing, which was required, he wouldn't have been mistakenly sent to El Salvador.
You clowns don't understand how wannabe dictators act. It's starts with people who seemingly deserve to be imprisoned. Then it gets expanded to people who speak up against what the Administration is wrongly doing. That's how democracy fails.
And we haven't even touched upon the shitshow created by the dumbass tariffs. Trillions of dollars of economic value has been erased. The value of the dollar is falling, treasury bills are losing value, and our status in the world is falling off a cliff.
