What do you mean its cuz of broadcasts? That could be but I also had no mail in my box. I could see if all the broadcasts disappeared but it was my entire inbox.

So ok if I haven't read the mail and I dont have active mail privileges it could disappear. I get that, if I am not paying why should the site pay for the bandwidth. But there were some emails I had read that are gone. So if I had moved them to another folder would I still have them?

when broadcasts are sent it shows up as unread mail
some of them self destruct meaning they disappear after a certain amount of time

The mail system has a limit on the amount of days it will hold mail.
I think its like 3 months or so. After that they are automatically deleted.
You have to place/transfer them to folders to preserve them.

i always use folders so that explains why i wasn't aware

Yeah, it something that I keep in mind. Sometime you can look through the sent mail to find old conversations but it can be hit or miss. I wish the owners of the site upgraded the capabilities of the site like searchable mail and such.
