If you are in the area I highly highly recommend seeing Jazmine_kreamsx! She gave me one of the best nights of my life. Literally gave me a night I could never forget. She brought a light into my life I had been missing!

When friends visit, I usually recommend Balboa Park, with lots of museums, gardens and the zoo. There are lots of gems in there The Japanese Friendship garden there is on the tail end of a large Cherry Blossom bloom but I'll bet still is worth a trip.
If you have not been before, the Hotel del Coronado is a must see and a great beach.
Some gems that are off-the-beaten-path, include hiking Annies Canyon in Solona Beach. It's a fairly short hike in a "slot canyon" with tall sandstone walls and very unique. Another is Sunny Jim's Sea Cave in La Jolla. Sunset Cliffs has very cool sea caves too. You can view a big open ceiling cave from above or rent a kayak and explore from below.
