I Second on Costa Mesa, Irvine is also a good place, plenty of nice places to have dinner.

Costa Mesa / Irvine, as others have said close to South Coast Plaza/John Wayne airport is ideal.
There are a TON of great places to eat around.
Couple of solid choices:
Din Ti Fung, South Coast Plaza - dumpling paradise.
Javier's - Irvine Spectrum, gold standard for fancy ass mexican food.

Buena Park if you enjoy Korean food, easy freeway access (5 + 91), inexpensive hotels with free parking and discreet access. OC is great. Please come :-)

when i first started i did try anaheim, that area wasn’t good for me at all, but costa mesa seems like its the most recommend place thank you all!

Nice place, free and eazy parking, easy freeway access, 2 minutes from SCP, and the closest hotel to me. Been there many times.

You are tough to book by the way get to the real OC area like Newport Beach - Irvine - near JWA
if nothing else you will have a quality stay
