She could have some type of blockage, I know pumpkin is supposed to be really good for a dogs digestive system but you may need to take her to a vet

I just watched a pet ER
They found 24 socks a scrunchie and a onesie
The dog was know for eating their socks but they had no clue was just backing up inside him!
So funny 🤣

Pumpkin is in her diet, she doesn't have any teeth so everything is pureed.
She's 13 years old ...
She likes pumpkin and carrots

Sorry to say this happened to my dog Cassie a number of years ago. She stopped pooping and was lethargic. Did blood tests at the Vet and found her internal organs were shutting down and we had to put her to sleep.
Not saying this is what's wrong with your dog but you NEED to take her to the Vet.

Okay ^^^ I hear you & thank you !!
However she's not lethargic at all & her body is not plump up like she's full of shit, I'm watching her carefully, took her outside yesterday and ran around crazy with her pack at the park, I kept hoping something would rattle loose, I didn't see her do it though.

Don't you know, ladies don't poop?

Why not go to a vet ???

She's so old it's not good to put her through the stress of a visit to the veterinarian if it's just something I can handle at home(crossing my fingers)veterinarian prices are insane just to walk in the door will cost me more than a hundred bucks only for them to tell me that nothing is really wrong, been there done that!!
I can use the $$$ for my animals in more ways than one rather than putting it in their pockets.
Like I said she's not lethargic or feels like she is bloated, maybe one the other dogs in the house ate her shit it's been known to happen...

Considering all the signs and symptoms I would expect she has pooped and you missed it.
At the top of the home remedies list for this is pumpkin puree which you are already giving her. The next advice is make sure she is hydrated.
Running around at the park and being lively doesn't jibe with a constipated dog.
Keep watching her like you have been.

Olive oil. 1 tsp per 10 lbs dog weight.
Perhaps you have already tried this.

AM/PM burritos and a six pack of natty light should do the trick nicely. Worked for me.

Luckyguy okay I have not tried that, she's only 3 pounds so I guess just a few drops.
allcaps, yeah no doubt that'd trigger somethin for sure

Yes, if she is that small, go easy. Use your best judgement. Maybe 1/2 tsp

When my little dog stopped pooping, he had Pancreatitis.I hope it is not that.
You say she shows no other signs. I would just watch her close and make sure she is getting enough water.

Hi Ajay
YES, she's been drinking water and I'm watching her carefully, I just fed her and she ate really good like always.
I'm praying it's nothing serious !

A very moving story.

Could have pooped and ate it. Some dogs do that.

I have 3 Chihuahuas they are prone to backup and have to go the vet to have their glands expressed. The only real warning is if the go across the floor sitting on their bottom. If not done it can be fatal.

Put her in a crate for a day. You can make sure what comes out or not.
