I believe the best thing they can do in california is to ban all gasoline engine driven vehicles.
And since California does not have the power grid to support electric vehicles, there would be no more traffic..
Now i'm thinking like a democrat.
Problem solved you are welcome.

Well Jay Leno is gonna be Pissed....

I would say it is crazy talk but then they are phasing out gas powered lawn equipment, which have been horrendous (sarc) for the environment. Just like classic cars which are driven so much they are absolutely killing all of us.

It always has to be political, doesn’t it?
I rarely put much faith in the YouTube news division.
How many true classics do you see on the road in a week that "are killing us" ? 2 ?
And the cali ban, if it occurs, would be for newly defined zero emission zones, google is your friend.
Anyway, see you at the car show!

PSA, soon enough we're going to find out that Lithium for all these EVs is the real killer, politically, economically, environmentally.
If you want to believe it, it must be true.

Morro Bay, in Monterrey was so beautiful, now:
When a massive fire erupted at one of the world’s largest lithium-ion battery storage facilities in Monterey County, it didn’t just send plumes of smoke over nearby communities — it cast a pall over the future of California’s clean energy industry.
The fire at the Moss Landing Power Plant, which ignited on Jan. 16, burned for five days and ultimately destroyed around 80% of the batteries inside the building that housed 100,000 lithium batteries.
The lithium cloud spread all over the lettuce fields.
I'd wash my lettuce extra well for a few years.

I’m glad refineries and oil wells never catch fire and cause environmental damage.

Bullshit.

Fake news?
Fact, fiction or theory?
The real question: is this malicious disinformation designed to distract and infuriate the most gullible Californians or is it fake news reported by amateurs cosplaying as reporters while jumping to conclusions and failing to get the facts.

Getem groggy. You know the truth. Newsom is the greatest thing since popcorn.
Look what he's done for California.
In 2024, California's state debt was about $158 billion.
California's debt is the highest in the United States.
What happened to the surplus?

With Jay Leno's connections he will have his collection designated a state historic museum, not subject to any restrictions what so ever.

there was another bullshit post about banning older 2 stroke road bikes. pure crap, some ECO Weenie is behind that video. FUCK'em...

If we’re going to talk about debt let’s talk about the Trump administration doing what republicans do best: paying lip service to debt reduction while adding trillions to our budget deficit.
Well when Mexico, China and others clean up there act...
.
That’s when you think republicans will get serious about reducing our budget deficits?
It’s always somebody else’s fault, isn’t it?
Oh froggy
Do the math
At some point budget deficits caused by spending borrowed money will destroy this country if nobody takes responsibility and solves the problem. Adding trillions to that debt is not the solution.

Every time I think the Sacramento cabal has reached the rock bottom of stupidity, they activate the drilling machine and head farther toward the center of the earth. Before long they're going to make it all the way to China.
Are you sure you’re not talking about the US congress?
Adding three trillion dollars in deficit spending is criminally stupid. We can’t expect future generations to pick up the tab for everything. If you can’t figure out that people around the world are going to stop loaning us the money to pay for stupid shit by buying treasuries then you need to educate yourself.

California will run up against the Commerce Clause pretty soon:
"The Commerce Clause, found in Article I, Section 8, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution, grants Congress the power to regulate commerce with foreign nations, among the several states, and with Indian tribes. This clause is a cornerstone of federal power, enabling Congress to shape national economic policy and address issues with interstate and international trade."
So essentially ban classic cars and you interfere with interstate commerce -- parts, oil, fuel, and other commerce are conducted because of the cars. And that power resides exclusively with Congress, and not with Gavin Newsom and the Keystone Cops we put in charge of our insane government.
Raise fuel prices via taxes too high and affect the ability to move goods in or out of the state because of the tax or onerous regulations or restrictions placed on fuel and you will impact interstate commerce...and the SCOTUS will shut you down.
