It’s gonna hurt. Tons of nerve endings in the nipple. I’ve seen some done where the areola and nipple meet.
Piercings are usually done with a straight needle so, try to use “dumbbell” jewelry and not hoops/rings. I’ve heard sometimes rings will grow out.

i personally dont jive with them that much - if a girl has them on its ok. im just not super crazy about them. though ive only had one experience so i cant say much beyond that. its just not my cup of tea but i wont get uptight if a girl has them.

I’ve had mine for 30 years, and was also a piercer long ago. Nipples never heal. If I took mine out today, they’d be closed up within 72 hours… and yes, they hurt like hell to get done, which is why most people only have one.

I hope you have a really high tolerance of pain. Not only have I heard from several people that it’s one of the most painful of all body parts to be pierced, I’ve also personally witnessed someone getting their nipples or shall I say one nipple pierced because the pain was so intense she passed out and woke up crying. She passed on getting the other nipple done.
Another nipple piercing story… My ex used to have his nipples pierced before we met. He took them out years ago & now his nipples are permanently hard. He walks around looking like he’s freezing cold all the time, they never go down. I believe it’s because the scar tissue behind the nipple itself has hardened thus preventing the nipple to soften. He also has tiny areolas because his nipples were in the constant state of erect.
Like a previous poster stated… You do what you want to do or whatever you think is going to make you happy & feel more self confident. I’m not trying to be a Debbie Downer, just wanted to give you as much information as possible so you can make the best decision for you, knowing 100% what you’re getting yourself into. If you decide to go for it, post some pics afterwards!

Glad you are gonna pass on them. Not really sure why ladies like them but I find they interfere with boob worship. Just a strange feeling the hard metal against the tongue. But each to their own!

I've had a few friends who have had them done. One said they lost all sensation after getting them pierced. Another said they went from hardly any sensation to extremely sensitive if if the wind was slightly blowing. So it really depends on the person doing the piercing and how much stimulation you have now and how much you're risking to lose if done wrong. Good luck and hope you enjoy them. And it takes about 6 months roughly for it to heal on average.
