Yes, but only with a supervising driver not driving it. I know not the same, but even then, I felt uncomfortable. I guess Uber is testing it out in my area.

I've only seen a Waymo on the freeway in LA. But I've been in commercial jets bunch of times, those fly themselves. Pilots are only there encase anything goes wrong, which they're underskilled from lack of familiarity of controlling aircraft. Example; Air France Flight 447 & Asiana Airlines Flight 214. Flight 214 the fire rescuers were so unfamiliar with rescuing that they were driving over survivors.
Waymo is way safer than humans drivers, which causes 40,000 deaths in 2023 in the US. They're too complicated and expesnive to be practical, but Googles money is endless.
Just Bring back the LA County 1200 miles of Streetcar line, end traffic congestion forever

i like the no traffic idea .. that would be perfect.

You wanna a fly in a helicopter, but you're afraid of riding in a robot car. That's funny, Should be the other way around. The saying about Helicopters, a million moving parts that don't want to fly. They have to leave the ground right when they get full speed or they'll shake themselves apart. Totally agree helicopter is the way to travel around. Well Msky no one wants a good girl

I have! I used Waymo in Phoenix, it is huge there. They pick up and drop at the airport as much as Uber. I've used it and had no problems. I can take a phone call with out the driver listening. If it a little frisky/handsy with a travel partner in the backseat no driver to watch or say anything.

It makes for GREAT Risque Photos in the backseat also while driving around the city.

What is the difference between a waymo and a sorority girl?
Not every guy has been inside a waymo.
Was it Johnny Cab?

I would think twice before doing anything in a Waymo vehicle. They are still training the model and capturing data, meaning there are as many cameras and sensors inside the cabin as there are outside. All of them stream live to Waymo control rooms and Alphabet/Google servers.

Wasn't there a ride like that at Disneyland years ago?
they are in my neighborhood all the time. living on the westside of LA, i see all sorts of new technology.. the waymo cars, the little "red wagons" delivering food using sidewalks and cameras..
I guess it's the way of the future.. but i do see lots of people losing jobs
