Ungrateful people.

The other night I drove up to a Burger King drive through. A guy approached my passenger window and asked could I buy him some food so I told the clerk to add a cheeseburger and fries in a separate bag. I told him that I ordered him a cheeseburger and fries, he says I want a whopper, I said sorry I've already placed the order. He walked away. WTF?

Aww, well you tried. I've been in similar situations.

A lot are very ungrateful.

Some just don't give a shit!

He was probably hoping you would just give him money instead - seen that ploy several times.

Just like these cheap ass hx guys. On other sites a guy would buy a beggar 2 whoppers, 2 large fries, and a shake, plus tip big--all for no service. Btw, Imma kinda hungry. Any chance you still have that burger?

Hi Lamar!

That’s a nice gesture, but many homeless (not all) folks are not desperate.
This is their challenge when trying to thrive in society.

Failure to launch is real.
No sense of urgency. No system. No plan. No communication skills.
Very high EQ tho.

Him not being able to get what he wants is a representation of why he’s in the streets.
Stubborn. Poor guy.

Miss you BTW hun.

LMFAO I swear people are hilarious

While walking to pay for my gas a woman pulls up in a car full of her spawns, and asks if I could spare money for her gas. I give her $20 and she goes "THATS IT! we need food too!" .. I say "omg i am so sorry I thought that I gave you a $50". I take the $20 back, put it in my purse, and proceed to walk inside to pay for my gas because WTF?! lol

Some people are just unbelievable but I LOVE that you wanted to do the right thing for someone in need. This is why I dont believe in making excuses for people who are "young and dumb" because then they get older and turn to needy entitled adults who were never taught right from wrong.

... sorry that you had to deal with that...

Also... I have a whopper that you can eat *wink*

Yes, some people just don't get it. Society owes you NOTHING.....you make your own breaks.

And if someone does try to help if you are down on your luck, be appreciative.

I just had similar experience. I went to 7-11 to get a drink. A guy was hanging outside looking pretty sorry. So I told him to come in with me and pick himself a sandwich, big mistake. He got himself a sandwich, a hot dog, a soda, a milk, a cookie, and a bag of chips. Since he already touched all those food, I decided to pay for it any way. It was more than what I was planning to share, but live and learn.

I've done that before and received a similar response.

You won't get a rational reaction from the mentally ill, but many would be very appreciative. So don't give up hope for humanity when you get a shitty reaction from one person.

But you always run the risk of getting a shitty reaction from the homeless, which is why it's better to donate to a homeless shelter or church that helps the homeless than give them money or even interact with them.

The most shocking part of this story is that Lamar goes to Burger King, that anyone goes to Burger King really.

I like burger king also, but you must remember.
