If you want to grow a network there, you need to tell other ladies about it and the benefits if they travel to Southern CA. This will be hard since you probably do not have much interaction with other ladies.
More importantly is you have to tell your male clients about HX. It will only cost them $25 to join. Then tell them to tell the ladies they see about HX. If the network grows up there, then there will be more activity.
Now while I tell you this, I only play on HX so I cannot tell others about HX. Santa Barbara has basically no ladies visit from HX because there are so few guys in Santa Barbara so the pickings are slim.
When there were the other sites (before being shut down) there were ladies on more than one site. They visited here because of the other sites.

If you use the People button on the tab you can specify for the Reno area, make and you will see that there are 23 males listing Reno, but only 8 are level 1 are or up. Of those 8 only 2 list Reno/Carson as their home base (I assume that the other 6 were visiting).
Now if I was one of those 2 guys, I would only check HX when I was visiting southern CA. since there are probably no ads for the area to look at. I am sure they would not mind an HX lady visiting the area to send me a PM to let them know of your visit or that you live in that area. I wouldn't mind.
Of course they also probably only goon HX when they have something taking them south or maybe to the Bay Area. But it has to start somewhere.
There are 23 female HX members listed in a female search with 9 of them being their listed home base with all of them being level 0.

Mark, it sucks that Santa Barbara is so dead for the hobby. You would think with rich folks in the area, and a constant flow of new undergrads every year in Isla Vista, that the area would be prime for HX.

When I started we used to get people up her but it was because they were also on other sites. I am only on HX. I know there is a market here, but the guys in town belong to other sites is my guess.
I tried list crawler but it has no true info. I visited Bakersfield and tried to contact ladies but it was full of false info and scams. I reached out a wide net asking for info. A number of them were the same guy who asked why I was wasting his time and not booking but asking others. I had also asked directed questions as to what they offered. He threatened me even though all he had was the ID I used. Tried to blackmail me even though he had no info. That is why I stay to HX.
