Red Lobster filed Chapter 11 in May 2024. They are out of the bankruptcy process after being acquired by RL Investor Holdings LLC (through court order), which will run its 545 restaurants as an independent company.
Twin Peaks is no longer in So. Cal. I think poor management, multiple lawsuits, and understaffed bars were their downfall.
The Hooters locations that they closed in So. Cal. recently didn’t have the highest caliber staff, if you know what I mean. Ontario is probably next. Long Beach is great. Costa Mesa isn’t bad. However, their restaurants in CA are neglected and dated
Ojos Locos is making a push into CA, as they are doing great in TX. However, they aren’t being welcomed by some city’s (I.e.: Downey). Wishing them success.

The reason these restaurants are dying has little to do with the America consumer. Lots of very poor business decisions and greed. Especially in the case of Red Lobster.

This wonderful economy we've had for years isn't exactly helping.

BJ's in Monrovia was full, and on a Tues night.
Some of these places give the idea, What inflation. Nothing to see here.

I've never been to Hooters and probably won't go, at least not for the current weight class staff.
The staff at Hooters in Asia look hot though.

Hooters ain’t been good for a decade or two. Whatever they slangin ain’t chicken, and the quality of titty meat started going down when everybody started getting bootleg tit jobs.
