It is unfortunate that there are men out there that treat women so badly. I know I always try to be as respectful and kind as I can to all the women I meet, whether they be in the hobby or not.

What i believe, as unromantic as it may seem, us that expectations should #1, (be obvious) look where you are meeting these gents, #2, state your expectations clearly before hand.

yes id highly encourage on communication expectations between each other. i have been on the other side of that end - and it hurts every time and leaves me wondering what i did wrong. time heals all wounds - regardless, communication is #1 and #2 for me personally. im sorry you experienced that.
