A few tips that may help.
- When you create a blog, open it back up and click on the button at the top to Subscribe. Once you have done this, the Subscriptions box at the top of HX will turn red when someone adds a comment to your blog.
- When the Subscriptions box turns red, click on it and then click on the tab at the top for Blog Subscriptions. Click on the link to open the blog and see the new comments.
- If you forgot to subscribe to one of your blogs and can't find it, go to your profile page (People box at top of HX and then View Your Profile) and then click on the button next to your photo that says Bree_Lovely's Blog. Open each one and click Subscribe.
- When people comment in one of your blogs, it is polite to respond. Try to avoid "stacking posts" by creating new comments for each person, you can respond to everyone above in a single comment
- To add a comment, scroll to the bottom of the blog and click "Add a Comment" link.
- If you are copying and pasting something, be sure to click the Preview button. Sometimes quote marks and apostrophes get screwed up and look like a bunch of code. Just delete that code and replace with quote or apostrophe and click Preview again to make sure it worked.
I hope this helps. It looks like you already joined N00bz club. There is a lot of helpful information there.
In addition, there are not a lot of people using HX from Florida, so don't be surprised if you don't get many responses to your classifieds. If you visit California and post your ad there, particularly if you drill down to the county and city/area, you will see better responses.

Randy, I always thought the computer code inserted in text was due to writing a blog or classifieds on a Word Processor (Word) and then cut and paste onto HX..

I mentioned "if you are copying and pasting something". It could be from a word document, but just as common is when you copy and paste from another web page, an app on your phone, or anything else.
