Much prefer live in person over online poker. But will admit that getting the friends together for a game is tough these days, so online is much more convenient.

Texas Hold'em is still a popular game
But, 5-card stud, 7-card stud, 5-card draw, High-Low games are still around. I don't have the nerve or the backing to play cash games, so I keep to lower entry tournament-style games...when I can't play I will watch tournaments on TV.

Love Poker. I play a little on my phone, but much prefer in person.

Poker in person is always the funnest. Online is fun too if everyone is playing together while streaming.

I used to play no limit hold'em at commerce all the time. Used to also play at Hollywood park, Lady Luck and Hustler every now and then.
I stopped playing around covid and never really got back into it.

I play video poker at the casino bar' s and put enough in to get comped drinks and normally after 3 hrs I win enough to break even or come out ahead to cover tips for the comped drinks...not really a gambler myself which is a good thing living in Vegas !

It is a 3 min walk away 24/7, but I suppose I am too intimidated to go to the poker tables by myself. Baccarat or blackjack is easier on my own.
*BUT, honestly, thee only or vast majority of people I know who gamble regularly and actually make bank and are successful in life (gambling) in fact, are the poker players

I play almost every night. On line usually with friends I know. Small stakes. $10 or $20 tournaments.
I am good at it. Stats are kept.
Out of 50 friends on line (though only about 20 play regularly) statically I come in 1st place every year. 4 years straight. And will come in 1st again this year.
Love the game and the strategy. Lots of luck involved. But there definitely is some skill to it.
