Restaurants - but they always get pissed cause I only tip 10%.
Never take cabs, ubers or have had a hair cut, why would you tip a barber??? That seems insane.

Tipping after the fact does not insure nothing...if you want to insure that, then you need to slip your server/barber some loot up front. Tipping after the service is intended to 'reward' the person... but regardless of the service everyone expects a tip.

I tip if I'm sitting or laying down. Massages, dining, mani/pedi, etc. Min 15%
I do not tip when I'm on my feet. Sandwich shop, donut shop, coffee, etc
The exception to that would be the valet, he gets a fiver

Well I did get 6 tips out of 12 trips yesterday. Course those were all in OC cept the couple that took me from Corona to JWA, Thank you.
At Restaurants, never mind the 15+%. Just double the tax gets you close enough.

off the top of my head these are the people in my life that I tip...
I tip when I eat out 15-30%
Nail lady gets $10 (plus treats)
Hair lady get $25+ cause she gives the best scalp massage
lyft 20%
Vallet between 5-$10 kind of depends on how far they have to do to get it.

I don't ever like to give the tip.I'd rather give the whole thing.

When I used to clubs, I would always give the bartender $20 to cover my drink and tip.
Rest of the night, never had to wait for a drink.

Business at most of the restaurants I go to have declined since covid,
so I tip more than 20% because I know that servers there are not making
a lot of tips.
I tend to tip wherever I get service.
