Once you get above Ventura County there are hardly any guys or ladies on HX. They must be on other sites. We used to get ladies to sometimes visit Santa Barbara,but not anymore since the demise of those previous other clubs.

Cambria and Pismo Beach, which is really Grover City, you can drive on the beach. Low tide is best just stay on the water part.
Santa Cruz pier. Some what like Santa Monica.
