@AFMadness
Who did that study?: Christel Nielsen, Mats Jerkeman, and Anna Saxne Jöud. They are all at Lund University, one of the best know medical research centers int the world.
The study was paid for by The Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare
Why would anyone pay them off?
I wasn't planning on taking my medical advice, however, from a paranoid conspiracy theorist.

I just read somewhere that 97% of scientists agree with whoever pays them to write the study.

I understand that when you get tattoos, the inked part is like scars. The sweat gland underneath can no longer function, so you don't sweat in those areas. Sweating is the body's way of getting rid of some waste and toxins, and keep the body cool. So I can see that there could be some medical consequences for people who has a lot of tattoos.
