No Chinese food worth mentioning in Palm Springs, but, I recommend Talay Thai restaurant in Rancho Mirage.
It is Bangkok style city food. I prefer the northern Thai dishes but this place is good.

Don't know about that but Thai Hot in indio is great. Just hop onto the 10East and exit Monroe, and go down to 111. It's on the right just past the Starbucks and the pizza hut.
Most authentic Thai out here.
