I've actually seen this ad on Craigs while my ex-bf was trying to find a better job as a lab assistant. At the time, I think he was making $13/hr. with a B.S.
And frankly, most of us are paying a majority of our income to landlords who actually don't nearly do any labor at all. You want a strong economy? You have to shuffle some of that wealth around to people who will earn it and spend it.

Tax rates are too low for high income earners. Over a million in annual taxable income should have a 10 percent surcharge regardless of from salary, capital gains, interest, dividends. We tax the rich and there will be a much larger, healthier true middle class.

Agreed. But there was a wave of 'everybody deserves an education' from the 'free handout' politicians. The universities responded to the influx of easy money by coming up with worthless degree programs and raked it in. Like so many government programs the promise was doomed from the start and many were left with worthless 'degrees' and debt. Now that same type of government is buying the victims' vote again by 'forgiving' the stupid loans.
All at taxpayer expense.

He is only forgiving something like loans for people who borrowed 10K or less and no late payments for 10 years. Which sounds to me like poor people who got conned into getting a student loan to learn a sketchy trade in the Obama years. Once the schools got the loans most never attended and because they were on welfare their payments were frozen. Obama got their votes by promising them they could get out of the hood and Biden is getting their votes by making us pay off their loans. Got to love the American way, get rich abusing the poor.
