What's your budget and area? The South Bay has some cute places. I like The Arthur J in Manhattan Beach if I want to be really fancy. Hermosa pier is fun to barhop in general if you want to meet people. I especially like American Junkie and Tower 12. If I want a nice meal, Ryla is right there along with Zane's
