This is a pretty big deal. Much of FB/instagram/whatsapp/Messenger/Oculus have been down GLOBALLY since about noon Eastern. DNS strikes again. This is probably their biggest outage in a decade.

Facebook is a big source of the political divisions in this country.
The whistleblower divulged the following:
While the company repeatedly claims it is helping stop hate speech, at least on its own products, one internal Facebook document leaked by Haugen says, “We estimate that we may action as little as 3-5% of hate and ~0.6% of V&I [Violence and Incitement] on Facebook despite being the best in the world at it.”
These are disturbing numbers.
Facebook is actually asking to be regulated because they are unable to monitor themselves.
