If you lock down until it is safe there will be nothing to come out for.

For all the faithful who flock to “the Word of Jesus” I am reminded that His original ministry was to take God out of the Church and to bring the faith back to the people in their daily lives. People were putting to much of their local leaders and not on the Almighty himself.

I am disappointed that some churches are choosing to be part of the problem rather than part of the solution.
I would like to understand their motivation in rushing back to “gathering.” But I don’t see it.
I realize they would prefer for things to go back to the way they were... but they aren’t.
I love the churches that are taking this as a challenge to re-invent how they do ministry.
Danny Carroll is a good man. A good pastor ... and leads a truly great church. I think he is missing it on this one.

It will be June when things are opening in Cali - social distance, masks, outdoors - protesters do none of that.
If those who are healthy go and they abide by the rules - which I assume a congregation will do as a group - then seems pretty responsible.
I wouldn't go but we've done Ok so far so we will ease out and medical science will eventually be the answer. Ideally get effective treatment with vaccine to follow.

The church cant pass around the "offering plate" and get folks to open their wallets if the doors are closed. How is the pastor suppose to skim some of that cash off the top to line his pockets...thats right..open the doors.

What gets me is a lot of these”holier than thou” types who think that the Almighty will protect them if they go.
It’s not the Fountain of Lourdes, it’s the neighborhood converted warehouse.
