palm springs, great food, not very far but far enough. the Hilton or hyatt downtown, Marriott desert hot springs, or the newly opened / renovated doubletree resort just a couple blocks off the palm springs strip are all great choices that you'll be happy with. for dinner, LG's is a must
Santa Cruz is a good place: Hotel near the wharf overlooking Monterey Bay, used to be called Dream Inn. Half Moon Bay is up the coast and Monterey and Carmel are down the coast.
I was suppose to be at the Atlantis resort tomorrow afternoon. The booking agent cancelled first, then the airline. Then the airline reschedules for the next day, lmao, ok. Then that gets cancelled and called this morning saying we could try for Thursday. I told them I already Txt and emailed back saying late Oct.
I've had three reschedules with flights from various airlines. I had to cancel one that was out of country because you can leave but you can't come back
