And Duncan Hunter indicted today for campaign finance violations. Sounds like he was using his campaign fund as a personal checkbook to pay for vacations, golf outings, theater, dental work, school tuition -- pretty much everything. The amount of corruption happening these days is staggering.

Even after a conviction, there can still be reasons to cooperate.
Feds can get state to do favors for them, like giving prisoners better privileges if they start cooperating.
And I am sure a federal prosecutors recommendations would carry weight with a state parole board.

I hope the press asks Mike Pence if HE is the candidate for national office that Michael Cohen mentioned in his guilty plea. The complicit most also have their feet held to the fire.
Make Pence deny that he directed Cohen to pay off women to keep quiet about affairs with him. Because Trump has already made clear it wasn't him, and Pence is the only other person it could be.

For the record I am not a Trump supporter! but lets just look at the bullshit
1. If Muller proves collusion and/or obstruction he may get impeached in the House but the
Senate will NEVER Impeach him.....thus he gets away with it.
2. The vast majority of the Americans do not care about the Russia scandal and the republicans
have a wonderful spin machine, Dems don't and have no balls to get in the mud and fight dirty.
3. Old school republicans like John McCain who do care about the Russian BS are a "dying breed" and no longer in control, the other guys like Paul Ryan are gutless wonders and will not challenge Trump.
4. The religious right is only righteous when it comes to attacking Dems...look at Mike Pence and all those other hippocrates who do not say a word about Trumps multiple affairs and/or derogatory comments about women and minorities.....the truth is they don't give a shit!
5. What are the Dems selling other than "Trump is a bad guy"/ Dems need a message and they need to grow a backbone in order to fight.
6. If Economy does well there is a very good chance that Trump wins re-election. Because we care about our Jobs.
Trump lies about his taxes, his affairs, and his personal gain with the tax break and he gets away with it.......Obama lied in order to give uninsured people (the poor) health care for them and their families and you give him shit for it.....All lies are not the same!

he made a deal when pleading guilty-
Cohen appeared before Judge William H. Pauley III around 4 p.m. and pleaded guilty as part of a deal that was organized with prosecutors. As part of the agreement, Cohen agreed to not challenge a prison sentence of 43 to 63 months.
Cohen pleaded guilty to five counts of tax evasion, one count of false statement to a financial institution, one count of causing an unlawful corporate contribution and one count of making an excessive campaign contribution. The maximum sentence for all the charges, if served consecutively, could have been 65 years.
The plea deal also means Cohen admitted to paying adult film actress Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, to remain silent about an affair she allegedly had with Trump years before he took office.
