@Londonluxxe,
Thanks for the ambient sounds recommendation. I checked out "Studying at Hogwarts" that crackling wood really authentic. and the back ground conversations but also chose "Sometimes We Have a Mushroom Life" its under the environmental section (of course I'd pick that). Its pairing perfectly with the colored lights and candles in my room. Additionally, my mind is starting to feel relaxed and creative.
I'll be taking some pictures today and usually I listen to techno, trap music, pop or rock, but im interested to use these sounds instead. Maybe ill get better shots, who knows?
How did you find out about the ambient sounds website, and do you listen to this genre a lot?
Ciao for now,
Indie

@mistress I'm so happy you're already enjoying it the sounds can really set any mood.
I've always loved sound scapes but I only just stumbled across this site recently. I love it.

lol right?? ^ that would sound pretty hilarious...I can only imagine.
I think someone should try...the site says you can create sounds too.

I actually took the advice of One of the commenters under the gryffindor common room page and added a few sounds myself.
I lowered the party chatter to barely audible, maximized solitude and fire crackling, increased frequency of page turns, added Hedwigs theme song playing in background and another thunderstorm video playing in the background. lol!
Bit of work but it sounds amazing.
There's a science to it for nerds.

Check out "The Barricade" from Les Miserables, play the French version of "Do you hear the people sing" in the background. Feels like you're in the uprising of 1832. Bonus points if you read Hugo whilst listening.
