Ofc there are ways to speed it up, like Agricraft sprinklers (they stack the effect), or growth accelerators (also stack) and watering cans. Prosperity can not be grown from a seed. However, you can easily farm them through quarrying and laser ore mining. Not much prosperity is needed for the mod, it is much more inferium reliant which is why you can grow inferium seeds. Prosperity ore is also found pretty common in the end and the nether.
